Mac · Ableton Live 12
By producers, for producers
If you send stems to a mix engineer, an artist or a label, Stemhand adapts to how you already work. Name files with your own template, save presets for the exports you repeat (mix, mastering, DJ) and set every option to fit your workflow.
The engineer always asks when you're out
The message comes in and the project is on the Mac at home. Even back at the desk, the export window takes over: pick the tracks, set the range, wait, rename forty files Live called 1-Audio and BASS-1, find the one that came out empty. You can't touch the computer while Live renders.
Set it up once, then export from your phone
- Set it up at your Mac, once.
Pick the tracks: every one with audio, your groups as stems, or just the ones you choose. Choose dry or through returns and master, 16, 24 or 32-bit, range from your locators, the loop or the clips, and a naming template like Song_Track_MixV2. Save it as a preset.
- Link your phone.
Open Stemhand on your phone and enter the 6-digit code from your Mac. It installs from the browser, no App Store.
- Tap Export from anywhere.
Your Mac runs Live's own export, renames and checks every file, and your phone buzzes when they're done. Play them on your phone and share them from there.
It arrives ready to send
- Named your way.
Every file follows your template, so your engineer opens the folder without asking what 4-Audio grab 3 is.
- No empty stems.
Every file is checked for audio and length. If one fails, you see which one and why.
- Same length, same start.
Every stem starts and ends on the same bar, ready to drop into a session.
- Your session stays yours.
Mute and solo go back exactly how they were, even if the export fails halfway.

Does it work on mobile data?
Yes. Your phone needs a connection, and so does your Mac.

It doesn't save or modify your set, and it restores mute and solo after exporting.
